Melissa from http://www.ardeasnest.blogspot.com/ was part of the Accuquilt Spring Theme Blog Hop and she demonstated a very cute quilt about 42" square which can be made with or without the Go Cutter. I was particularly interested in this as while I have the machine, I only have the original dies that come with it and this is a quilt I can still make. Anyway - I will soon be the owner of 1/2 yard of each of these fabrics and I am very excited and grateful - first win for me and while I know I will continue to win, the first time is always the sweetest, don't you think. (lol) in quilting blog land anyway.

Accuquilt also has a contest going on for Barn Quilt Designs and Melissa has been accepted in the top 100 designs which is pretty good. Why don't you take a moment to vote for her?

Congratulations Vicki!! I have to agree the first win is very special...but then so are all the others!! We will have to talk GO! as I have quite a few dies...feel free to borrow them anytime. I just got the Bountiful Basket, Equilateral Triangle to go with the Hexagon (which I also have) and the Chisel. I must have 14 or 15 dies.
